Tony started playing (messing about) the drums first at high school when he was just 15, had a couple of lessons and gave up until he was 18 when the passion for them really kicked in and bought his first kit a Premier 5 piece and used to practice in his bedroom (poor neighbours) along with his keyboard playing brother. Being 80’s kids we were influenced by techno bands rather than rock bands. We were spotted by a passer by who heard us rehearsing and asked if we would like to form a band…… we did and played original music in youth clubs & schools, and that is where the bug for playing live started!!

The 1st band formed was a 4pc called KG30, which later downsized to a 3 pc covers band called Bordeaux, which ended up playing pubs & clubs for what seemed a lifetime. After various singers, we decided to call it a day. Tony then went on to play for a locally famous band called ‘Rumours’ with the famous Gibbo on vocals, played with them for a few years and has been in various rock & pop bands since then. The latest bands being the likes of ; Rio (80’s tribute band) & Skreem being the latest with brother Alan on keyboards.

I am looking forward to working with Second Sight, they all seem a good set of guys (and Gal!).

For the Muzo’s

Equipment I play at the mo includes : DW 5 Pc kit using mesh heads with DDrum triggers going through a Roland TD10 Sound module along side a Roland SPD20 Percussion pad, no…… it’s not cheating!! It’s just as live, as a kit with skins, but with refined sounds. Cymbals are Zildian & Sabian, Sticks….. don’t worry about them, there’s nothing technical about them!
