Hi my name is Derek. Finally this is profile ok now your probably bored shitless already. Ha only joking. Well how far should I go back; mmm yes 10 000 BC yep good film if you haven’t seen it yet. Started my musical life in a salvation army band playing a trombone then promoted to trumpet by my aunty who ran the band if I didn’t turn up you got a clip around the ear. But my true love was the very large pipe organ which was located at the ice house Anlaby road the only music I could play was church songs yuck. You must be bored now.

Ok lets move on a few thousand years ended up in Spain and France at holiday camp sites playing keys in stage shows ha, not much of a rock back ground your saying. Well you have to start some were. Came back to Blitey and hooked up with my bruv Paul who has a great rock voice which he never uses now; what a shame. Did a couple of gigs at uni and got the bug. Started a band called nameless which didn’t go very far. Went back to music school and tried my hand at writing songs and all that stuff so if Sony are reading this I may consider a music contract only if you give me the same money as Robbie Williams ha.

The drummer from band nameless rang to tell me he knew of a band looking for a keyboard player the band Second Sight. This band has had lots of forms and band members but its a pleasure playing with the present members. There is a lot of talent among them. Well signing off now taking my best mate out for a walk yep my dog, Timmy.
