Task 8

Practicing the Techniques We Have Learned So Far

In this task you will be given a text file (task8.htm) and three pictures. The text file contains no HTML tags at all. Your task is to format the text and insert the pictures to form a well structured web page.

Proceed as follows:-

    1. Click on this link to download the start files to your disk.
    2. Add the basic HTML tags to the code to space the paragraphs out (as in task 1)
    3. Add head and body statements, including the page title, and give your page a colour scheme (as in task 2)
    4. Identify any tables in the text and format them using the relevant HTML tags (as in task 3)
    5. Insert the pictures in appropriate places to give your page a professional touch (as in task 4)
    6. Modify fonts as appropriate (as in task 6)
    7. Finally, search the internet for some sites giving further information on the subject and create a list of links at the bottom of your page (as in task 5)
